CHAIR v PRESIDENT Triples

Saturday 21st September 2024

The Chair versus President Triples match took place on Saturday 21st September with 36 players taking part and the weather was really kind and the sun shone.

It was a really fun afternoon and everyone enjoyed the game of 14 ends and the result was the score of 89 shots to the Chair’s team and 60 shots to the President’s team. The cup will be presented at the end of season lunch on 17th October to the Chair.

After the game, thanks to Dave Edwards, the bar was opened which was very popular with the players and partners who turned up for the Fish and Chips and thanks go to Chris Gibbs, assisted by Barrie Turner who collected them. As usual the Fish and Chips were really good and hot and went down a treat.

Thanks to Brenda Clay for teas and coffees, and also to everyone who helped to hand out and clear away the fish and chips afterwards.
